TEACHability
Support for teachers at the beginning of their career is often not methodical or adequate. Teachers at the start of their careers are mostly assigned to challenging tasks and classes with a little supervision and support. Research states that nearly 50% of the teaching population change their profession in their first five years, so it’s necessary to provide timely and adequate support for teachers who are assigned to challenging school environments. Effective induction programmes create opportunities for novice teachers to learn from best practices to analyze and reflect on their performance, facilitating an enriched and continual learning.

New Teacher Induction
All educational institutions follow certain norms and culture, yet they vary from one another, which makes them unique organizations. Some times the educational institution's culture may not match the expectations of the newly recruited teachers and vice versa. That may cause conflicts and issues in the institution - among teachers, between teachers and students, between teachers and parents. Induction is an essential part of on boarding new recruits and familiarising them with work culture of the institution. This also helps to reduce the teacher turnover. Getting the induction process right can help get new teachers up to speed and productive as quickly as possible. We work with the instituion to understand the culture and practices and design cutomized induction programs.
